2. Set up your payment account
Link your profile to Stripe, our secure payment provider. Everything is guided in the application to simplify the operation.
3. Receive requests and interact with users
- Users interested in your profile send you requests.
- Consult each request to decide if it’s right for you.
- If you’re interested, let us know and start talking directly to the user.
💡 Dialogue is essential to confirm that the match is a good one.
4. Intervene and track your time transparently
- Once the request has been accepted and paid for, talk to the user to organize and plan your interventions.
- Schedule visits directly in the application to receive automatic reminders.
- Start the counter at the beginning of each operation and stop it at the end.
- The system automatically records the time used, guaranteeing total transparency.
5. Manage your activity over time
- At the end of each period (week or month), payments are deposited into your Stripe account.
- Packages renew automatically if you or the user do not cancel them, offering continuity of service and revenue.

Do I have to be self-employed to register?

To help you, we’ve provided an estimate of the average hourly rate in your area. It’s useful information, but don’t forget that an average is still an average. Think first of your strengths and the value you bring, to justify the rate that’s right for you.
Do I have to accept all requests?
Absolutely not! You are perfectly free to choose the requests that suit you.
If you don’t have the time, or simply don’t feel like it, no problem: you can refuse a request as soon as it is submitted to you, without any constraints.
How do I get paid for my services?
Payment is handled simply and securely via Stripe, our payment provider. Here’s how it works:

Booking and payment by the user:
The user pays in advance for the total number of hours scheduled for the period (week or month). -
Secure amount:
The payment is held on a secure account and is not transmitted directly. -
Release of funds:
At the end of the period, once the services have been completed, the funds are transferred directly to your Stripe account.
With this system, you benefit from total transparency and secure payment for all your services.
Can koappy help me with my tax returns?
Absolutely! At koappy, we do everything we can to make your life easier.
Depending on your status, we know exactly what information you need to declare. We prepare all the necessary supporting documents for you, directly available in your koapper space.
All you have to do is consult and download your documents, and transfer the amounts to your tax return. It’s all ready for you!
What happens if a user cancels an intervention?
With koappy, it’s important to understand that you’re not selling an intervention on a specific date, but a package of time that you make available over a given period (week or month).
If a user cancels a planned intervention, here’s what you need to know:
- The hour counter is authoritative: as long as the counter has not been activated, the time scheduled for this intervention will not be deducted from the package.
- Flexible scheduling: you can agree directly with the user on a different date or time to make up for this intervention if it suits you.
- Total transparency: at the end of the period, if any of the scheduled hours have not been used, they remain available to the user and are added to the next package.
. In the event of abusive behavior by a user (repeated cancellations without warning, lack of respect for your time), you have the option of reporting the problem to koappy. You are also free to terminate the relationship with this user if this becomes necessary.

Do payments include koapper fees?
Yes, koappy takes a commission on the amount of each package. This commission is totally transparent and amounts to 17%.
It is used to cover the platform’s operating costs, in particular to guarantee a secure and intuitive service, and to continue improving the tools made available to you.
Of course, you remain in control of your hourly rates, so you can adjust them to take this commission into account.
Do I have to issue invoices to users?
Not at all! This process is fully automated thanks to koappy.
As soon as you’ve completed your profile and entered your organization’s details, all the necessary data is saved. We take care of automatically generating and transmitting invoices to your users.
These invoices are directly available in the user’s personal space, where they can be downloaded at any time. You don’t have to do anything yourself: just concentrate on your services, and leave the paperwork to us.
What should I do if I can't perform a scheduled operation?
Sometimes, for personal or unforeseen reasons, you may be unable to carry out an intervention. Don’t worry: here’s how to handle the situation transparently:
- Notify the user as soon as possible: use chat to inform the user of your unavailability. Communication is essential to maintain a good relationship.
- Propose a new date: if you are able to reschedule the intervention, agree a new date or time directly with the user.
- No hours counted: as long as the counter has not been activated, no hours will be counted on the user’s package.
Important: If you can’t find an arrangement, or if your unavailability is prolonged, the user can search for another koapper on the platform to meet their needs.

Can I work part-time with koappy?
Yes, in most cases it’s possible! You can combine a part-time job with a freelance activity on koappy.

What happens if I want to stop being a koapper?
If you want to put an end to your koapper business, it’s simple and straightforward. Here’s how:

Take your profile offline: go to your personal space and deactivate your visibility. You will no longer be listed in search results.

Inform your active users: if you have ongoing services, let your users know in advance to help them organize the transition.

Close your self-employed status (if necessary):
- If you decide to cease your self-employed activity for good, find out about the procedures specific to your status. In France, for example, micro-entrepreneurs can easily declare the cessation of their activity online.
- Alternatively, you can keep your status active if you plan to take over at a later date.
